7 WAYS TO USE A FLAT WORKOUT BENCH AT HOME

Many of you have commented that you don’t have a lot of room in your home gym for multiple training equipment.
So, if you could only fit ONE piece of equipment, which one would it be and why?

Now, the following exercises are not just the TOP 7 Bench Exercises you can do, but together, they actually constitute a rather  Body Workout you can perform at home or even at the gym… because let’s face it, running from equipment to equipment can sometimes be rather awkward…

NOT ONLY UPPER BODY WORKOUT
  • 01.DUMBBELL PRESS. - The king of upper body dumbbell exercises! Choose a the heaviest dumbbells you can have proper form with. And lets go ahead...
  • 02.RUSSIAN TWISTS. - Secure your feet under the leg bar, grab a 45lbs plate and prepare to fry your entire core. For this exercise, you will be crunching like a standard decline sit-up but you will also be rotating your trunk from side to side like a Russian twist as you crunch up and down. Complete 15 reps if possible or lower the weight!
  • 03.DUMBBELL PULL-OVER. - Lie on the bench with only your upper back resting on the bench itself. The rest of your body should be hanging off the bench for a maximum stretch and contraction on every repetition.
  • 04.TRI-RAISE. - Finish up and fry your shoulders with a 3-in-1 deltoid isolation exercise. Raise the dumbbells to the side, then raise them to the front and then press them overhead. Just 2 sets are more than enough to finish your shoulder training strong.
  • 05.BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUATS. - Is an effective bench leg exercise to add real muscle size to your quads, hamstrings, and glutes. As a single-leg exercise, it demands a lot of focus and pain tolerance to training your leg strength and stability. It's an alternative to traditional barbell squats if you have back problems.
  • 06.PLYO BENCH PLANK HOLD. - One of the crazy tough bench workout you can do with a bench! The Plyometric Bench Pushup is not only challenging to your entire core, it also speeds up your heart rate and add some fat burning into your workout.
  • 07.HIP THRUST FEET-ELEVATED. - The Hip Thrust is a glute exercise designed to improve your strength, speed and power by teaching optimal hip extension. If your glutes are underdeveloped, your speed, power and strength are all compromised. That means you'll have weaker squats, deadlifts, slower sprints and lower vertical jumps.
